Access to and use of this application (HumArTech) implies full acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this legal notice. The research group iArtHis_LAB, affiliated with the Department of Art History at the University of Málaga (UMA), reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time, and users are encouraged to review them periodically.

Users agree to make proper use of the application and the content or services it provides, refraining from using them for unlawful activities, actions contrary to good faith or public order, or for the dissemination of offensive, discriminatory, or rights-infringing content.

2. Ownership and Responsibility

HumArTech is a freely accessible application developed by the research group iArtHis_LAB, attached to the Department of Art History at the University of Málaga, with the purpose of supporting research in Digital Art History. Its maintenance is managed within the institutional and educational framework of UMA.

3. Intellectual and Industrial Property

All content, graphic design, source code, interfaces, and materials available in HumArTech are protected under Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property laws. Unless expressly stated, ownership corresponds to the University of Málaga or the members of the iArtHis_LAB group.

Users must respect the rights recognized by legislation and refrain from any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the content.

5. Disclaimer

The iArtHis_LAB group and the University of Málaga do not guarantee the absence of errors in accessing or using HumArTech content, although they commit to resolving them and maintaining the service with the utmost diligence.

Access and use of the application is carried out under the sole responsibility of the user. Neither the group nor the University shall be liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from improper use of the information or services provided through the platform.

The HumArTech portal may include links to external websites belonging to other academic entities or associated projects. These links are provided for informational purposes and do not imply any dependency or responsibility for the content of the external sites.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

The processing of personal data shall follow the provisions of the iArtHis_LAB Privacy Policy, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any disputes arising from access to or use of the HumArTech application, the user expressly submits to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Málaga (Spain).

The iArtHis_LAB group reserves the right to modify these terms to adapt them to regulatory changes or technological developments of the project. Updates will take effect upon publication on this same page.
