Natura Potentior Ars: arte, naturaleza y ciencias para una disciplina del siglo XXI. En dicho congreso participaron dos miembros del equipo de iArtHis_Lab con sus respectivas comunicaciones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manuela Garc\u00eda Lirio con <i>Miradas hacia los paisajes acad\u00e9micos en Andaluc\u00eda a trav\u00e9s del patrimonio natural universitario.<br \/>\n<\/i><\/li>\n<li>Leticia Crespillo Mar\u00ed con <i>La Ciudad-Museo: Memoria conservativa del Monumento a los Larios (M\u00e1laga) y su paisaje urbano a trav\u00e9s de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas<\/i>, representando, adem\u00e1s, a sus compa\u00f1eros Sonia R\u00edos Moyano y Javier Gonz\u00e1lez itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>XXIV Congreso CEHA: Paisajes. <em>Natura Potentior Ars:<\/em>\u00a0arte. Naturaleza. Ciencia. Pertinencia y actualidad del tema<\/h2>\n<p>En la dedicatoria dirigida al emperador Tito en su\u00a0<em>Historia Natural<\/em>, Cayo Plinio Secundo, Plinio el Viejo (\u2020 24 de agosto de 79), indic\u00f3 que la obra trataba \u201csobre la naturaleza, es decir, sobre la vida\u201d (<em>rerum natura, hoc est vita<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Naturalis Historia<\/em>, praef.). Con su sentencia, el militar romano se hac\u00eda eco de uno de los principios m\u00e1s antiguos del pensamiento occidental, la relaci\u00f3n eterna, preexistente, entre\u00a0<strong>naturaleza<\/strong>\u00a0y vida, v\u00ednculo al que muy pronto se habr\u00eda sumado un tercer elemento, el\u00a0<strong>arte<\/strong>, cuya relaci\u00f3n con los anteriores dio lugar a uno de los conceptos m\u00e1s importantes de la est\u00e9tica cl\u00e1sica, el de\u00a0<em>m\u00edmesis<\/em>, o la manera seg\u00fan la cual el arte puede intervenir en la naturaleza. Idealiz\u00e1ndola y reproduci\u00e9ndola para intentar mejorarla seg\u00fan S\u00f3crates (<em>Apolog\u00eda de S\u00f3crates<\/em>\u00a0de Jenofonte); complet\u00e1ndola en unos casos o sencillamente imit\u00e1ndola en otros para Arist\u00f3teles (<em>F\u00edsica<\/em>); pero siempre en continuo di\u00e1logo con el avance de la\u00a0<strong>ciencia<\/strong>. Los estudios de \u00f3ptica y los tratados sobre los colores de Dem\u00f3crito impulsaron a la pintura y al dise\u00f1o perspect\u00edvico de algunas construcciones, de manera similar a c\u00f3mo el conocimiento de la din\u00e1mica de los distintos metales y de sus procesos de fundici\u00f3n fue fundamental para el progreso de la escultura en los mismos albores del clasicismo griego. No es casual, como record\u00f3 el Prof. Mancini en la presentaci\u00f3n de la candidatura ante los miembros del CEHA, \u201cque la\u00a0<em>Historia Natural<\/em>\u00a0es un texto de ciencias en el que Plinio incrust\u00f3 su reflexi\u00f3n sobre el arte en un cap\u00edtulo, el de la metalurgia, sancionando as\u00ed el v\u00ednculo entre arte, naturaleza, ciencia y escritura\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Relaci\u00f3n que se ha proyectado, sin soluci\u00f3n de continuidad, desde aquellos tiempos hasta el presente. La sucesi\u00f3n de distintos estilos art\u00edsticos, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la cuestionada validez de las etiquetas, se ha dividido entre corrientes naturalistas frente a otras antinaturalistas, en un balance tanto conceptual como est\u00e9tico, que se ha impuesto en los procesos de creaci\u00f3n a otros como los binomios realismo-idealismo, clasicismo-vanguardia o figuraci\u00f3n-abstracci\u00f3n. Y as\u00ed, hasta hoy. Retomando de nuevo las palabras defendidas en la presentaci\u00f3n de la candidatura, \u201cno podemos considerar casual la manera con la que en la actualidad el arte y la naturaleza se van relacionando en los procesos de reflexi\u00f3n y creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica contempor\u00e1nea en la que la funci\u00f3n, el uso, el equilibrio ecol\u00f3gico trascienden el mismo concepto de obra de arte para convertirse en elementos de imbricaci\u00f3n estructural entre el aspecto art\u00edstico, cualquiera que este sea, y su raz\u00f3n de ser, su forma de aparecer en el equilibrio del mundo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, la tem\u00e1tica del congreso est\u00e1 en rigurosa sinton\u00eda con las corrientes actuales tanto de la praxis, como de la cr\u00edtica art\u00edstica, sin perder por ello su dimensi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica. Toma los conceptos de naturaleza\/paisaje y arte\/artes, en sentido amplio, polis\u00e9mico. Forma parte de los intereses investigadores del Departamento de Historia del Arte de la UCM, cuya revista cient\u00edfica,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/revistas.ucm.es\/index.php\/ANHA\"><em>Anales de Historia del Arte<\/em><\/a>, ha dedicado su \u00faltimo n\u00famero a las\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/revistas.ucm.es\/index.php\/ANHA\/issue\/view\/3867\"><em>Bot\u00e1nicas del arte<\/em>\u00a0(vol. 31, 2021)<\/a>. Su an\u00e1lisis plurifocal atiende a la creciente demanda de la sociedad por la protecci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n de los espacios naturales, sin que ello implique renunciar a su manipulaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica, como demuestra el \u00e9xito obtenido por propuestas como la reciente\u00a0<em>Naturaleza Encendida<\/em>\u00a0en el Real Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico. Incluso, extiende su conexi\u00f3n a la propia ciudad de Madrid que acoger\u00e1 el encuentro, al recordar que el Eje Prado-Recoletos, en el que se ubican alguno de los museos e instituciones culturales en los que se desarrollar\u00e1n parte de sus actividades, junto al Parque del Retiro, acaban de ser declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por el 44\u00ba Comit\u00e9 de Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, en sesi\u00f3n celebrada el pasado 25 de julio. La primera candidatura de un espacio verde urbano europeo en conseguir esta distinci\u00f3n.
