La extensi\u00f3n de nuestra cultura visual y el incremento de la capacidad de acceso a la producci\u00f3n cultural humana han venido acompa\u00f1adas, sin embargo, de diversas problem\u00e1ticas y renovadas complejidades.<\/p>\n<p>Una de estas renovadas complejidades afecta al uso y reutilizaci\u00f3n de las im\u00e1genes en entornos digitales. Si bien el uso y reutilizaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes es consustancial al devenir cultural desde tiempos pret\u00e9ritos, la posibilidad de intervenci\u00f3n, manipulaci\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n que la naturaleza digital permite ha dilatado con creces las pr\u00e1cticas sociales, culturales y cient\u00edfico-acad\u00e9micas basadas en el uso de im\u00e1genes preexistentes. Esta circunstancia es especialmente relevante en \u00e1mbitos como el de la Historia del Arte, donde la imagen es al mismo tiempo material de trabajo y objeto de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, emerge una pregunta reiterativa: <strong>\u00bfcu\u00e1ndo y en qu\u00e9 condiciones se puede utilizar una imagen dada?<\/strong> El problema de los derechos de propiedad intelectual de las obras y los derechos de reproducci\u00f3n de sus im\u00e1genes persigue a los historiadores del arte desde hace tiempo, como muy bien dej\u00f3 constancia Juan Antonio Ram\u00edrez en su muchas veces citado art\u00edculo\u00a0\u00abLa cr\u00edtica y la historia del arte frente a los derechos de reproducci\u00f3n\u00bb (<em>L\u00e1piz<\/em>, n. 217, 2005, pp. 26-41), que se reproduce \u00edntegramente <a href=\"https:\/\/rebelion.org\/la-critica-y-la-historia-del-arte-frente-a-los-derechos-de-reproduccion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>En la ecolog\u00eda medial en la que se ha transformado Internet, el problema legal que abordaba Juan Antonio Ram\u00edrez en este texto ha devenido en un laberinto indescifrable, con una multiplicidad de derechos de uso, sustanciados en una diversidad de indicaciones heterog\u00e9neas, que se distribuyen, a su vez, en diferentes partes y secciones de las plataformas de acceso.<\/p>\n<p>Esta situaci\u00f3n laber\u00edntica ya fue puesta de manifiesto por Andrea Wallace en su interesante proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/displayatyourownrisk.org\/about-dayor\/\"><em>Display At Your Own Risk and CopyThat [Copyright and Cultural Memory 2016]\u00a0<\/em><\/a>llevado a cabo en la Universidad de Glasgow. Su trabajo inspira este proyecto que hemos denominado <strong>Imagomaquia<\/strong>, en alusi\u00f3n al esfuerzo que implica batallar con un marem\u00e1gnum de informaci\u00f3n no sistematizada y, en numerosas ocasiones, ininteligible.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\"
